You will play a critical role in ensuring timely audits, accurate fund accounting, investor distributions, and adherence to tax and statutory obligations. Process-driven approach to streamline audit, payments, and reporting workflows with minimal supervision. Collaborative team player who can coordinate across functions like IR, Legal, and external advisors seamlessly. What will you be responsible for Taxation & Statutory Compliance Ensure timely and accurate filings for Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory returns. Respond to tax notices, handle scrutiny assessments, and ensure optimal tax planning. Coordinate with tax consultants for tax advisory/planning and managing litigations. Audit & Financial Reporting Drive timely completion of statutory and internal audits across entities, including IFRS audits where required. Prepare accurate and audit-ready financial statements, MIS, and fund-wise reports. Implement robust internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit-readiness. Compliance & Regulatory Filings Coordinate with Company Secretary for managing regulatory compliances and Oversee MCA, RBI, and SEBI-related filings (e.g. Form 64, Form 64D/C, Form 61B, FLA returns). Maintain comprehensive compliance logs and proactively update the management on legal/regulatory changes. Handle ad-hoc finance tasks including new fund setup, litigation coordination, and vendor onboarding. Financial Planning and Analysis Prepare monthly cash flow statements and annual projections. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis. Prepare Monthly MIS and ad-hoc reports Maintain trackers for all financial activities and reporting dashboards for internal stakeholders. Payments & Investor relation Oversee payment workflows, including vendor payments, investment tranches to portfolio companies, distributions to investors and payroll. A natural aptitude for numbers, exceptional quantitative skills, and a solid understanding of financial statements, regulations, and compliance requirements. How does this role contribute As an Asst. Manager/Manager - Finance, you will handle Fund Accounting & Financial reporting, direct and indirect taxation compliances, SEBI compliances, and return matrix/ KPIs calculations. You will also manage audit preparation, facilitate due diligence processes, and oversee the critical investor and portfolio documents. What will you be responsible for Financial Reporting: Managing Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting across Alternative Investment Funds. Audit Closure: Using the repository of investor and portfolio data, preparing workings as per auditor s request. Compliances: Timely completion of SEBI quarterly/annual/adhoc filings, SEBI/RBI compliances on investment/divestments. Analysing new compliances impact and implement process for compliance. Investor Reporting: Preparing quarterly and annual Investor reports including, but not limited to, statement of accounts (SOA), unit statements, distribution letters and regular reporting that would be shared with current and prospective investors on the Fund s performance. Preparing replies for investor queries and requests. Return Matrix: Computation of Net Asset Value (NAV), Internal rate of return (IRR) & other matrices, namely DPI, RVPI, TVPI on regular basis. Expense Management and Reconciliation: Tracking fund expenses, management fees, and fund-level costs to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting and as per fund documents. Document Analysis & Compliance: Responsible for preparation, managing and analysing investor-related documents (PPM, Contribution Agreements, KYCs etc) and investment documents.
