We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant or Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with invoicing, Tally ERP, filing TDS, and general accounting practices. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including invoicing, TDS filing, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining an expense sheet. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and vendors to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Manage and process all invoices for the company, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure timely payments of pre-specified amounts to vendors and contractors, following company policies and procedures. Responsible for filing TDS returns as per compliance regulations. Maintain and update the companys expense sheet regularly to ensure all costs are recorded and tracked. Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up as needed. Act as a point of contact for payments due from clients or vendors. Make calls on the companys behalf to ensure prompt settlement of payments. Perform regular data matching to ensure financial records are aligned and accurate. Assist in preparing financial reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly statements. Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience: Previous experience as an Accountant, Junior Accountant, or in a similar role. Skills: Proficient in Tally ERP and other accounting software. Strong knowledge of TDS filing and related tax compliance. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
