1. Regulatory Compliance & Coordination - Ensure timely and accurate compliance with DGFT, BIS, Customs, MPCB, and other regulatory authorities for all import/export operations. - Handle documentation and approvals for IEC, BIS registration, hallmark licenses, PCB consents, and any operational licenses required. - Prepare and maintain regulatory filings, import/export documentation, and coordinate inspections or audits. - Track and respond to government circulars, policy changes, and compliance notices. - Coordinate NABL compliance requirements internally with designated technical heads. 2. Administrative Management - Supervise day-to-day administration of the refinery office, security arrangements, staff coordination, and vendor management. - Maintain physical and digital records of all statutory documents, licenses, approvals, and contracts. - Ensure operational readiness of the refinery premises – including hygiene, staff logistics, office supplies, and utilities. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures for document flow, approvals, and internal administration. 3. Import Transaction Oversight & Due Diligence - Monitor and execute compliance-related aspects of bullion and dore gold imports including customs clearance, BOEs, and allied documentation. - Ensure accurate vendor/customer onboarding as per internal policy and regulatory KYC/KYB standards. - Maintain end-to-end visibility on all high-value shipments from origin to vaulting. - Work with customs brokers, transporters, vault operators, and internal accounts to ensure timely and compliant execution of all imports. 4. Internal Controls & Reporting - Maintain checklists, trackers, and dashboards for all regulatory compliance functions. - Assist in internal audits, vendor audits, and compliance reviews. - Generate monthly compliance status reports for senior leadership. - Identify operational risks and proactively suggest mitigation steps to management. Key Skills & Competencies - Thorough understanding of compliance procedures for DGFT, BIS, MPCB, and Indian Customs. - Experience in import/export documentation, licensing, and transaction monitoring in precious metals preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi. - Excellent coordination, reporting, and follow-up capabilities. - Proficiency in using government portals (ICEGATE, DGFT, BIS, MPCB) and ERP systems.  Requirement Skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a compliance or admin-heavy role within bullion, jewelry, or related sectors. - Candidates with refinery, precious metals, or export house background preferred.
1. Sample Preparation & Analysis: Receive and prepare metal samples for analysis (e.g., fire assay, ICP, gravimetric, titration). Conduct accurate testing of gold content, purity, and other precious metals or trace elements. Ensure proper handling of chemicals and samples to prevent contamination or loss. 2. Data Recording & Reporting: Record test results meticulously in lab systems or databases. Prepare and submit analytical reports to supervisors and relevant departments. Flag any deviations or anomalies in test results. 3. Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and calibrate lab equipment such as spectrometers, balances, furnaces, and acid digestion systems. Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of lab tools and workstations. 4. Safety & Compliance: Follow all laboratory safety protocols including handling hazardous substances (acids, cyanide, etc.). Wear proper PPE and comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies. Dispose of waste according to environmental and company standards. 5.Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring lab procedures meet ISO and refinery standards. Assist in method development and validation where required. Requirement Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related scientific field. Experience: 2–5 years in a laboratory environment, preferably within a precious metals or mining/refining industry. Certifications (Preferred): Fire Assay Training, Laboratory Safety, ISO 17025 familiarity.  Key Skills: Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques (especially related to precious metals). Attention to detail and accuracy in high-value material testing. Familiarity with lab instruments (AAS, ICP, fire assay furnace, titration systems). Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work in a high-temperature and potentially hazardous environment.
