Role & responsibilities 1. Network Infrastructure Management Monitor, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN connectivity across all office locations. Perform regular network health checks and proactively resolve performance and connectivity issues. 2. Security & Network Segmentation Design, implement, and manage VLAN-based network segregation to ensure departmental isolation and enhanced security. Configure, manage, and optimize Fortinet Firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and advanced threat protection features. 3. Remote Access & VPN Management Ensure secure, reliable, and high-availability VPN configurations to support remote and hybrid workforce productivity. 4. Wireless Network Optimization Deploy, standardize, and maintain corporate Wi-Fi infrastructure across all locations to ensure consistent coverage, performance, and security. 5. Incident Management & Alerting Implement real-time incident alerting mechanisms (email and system notifications) to minimize response time and operational impact. 6. SD-WAN Deployment & Support Support, troubleshoot, and assist in the end-to-end deployment of SD-WAN solutions for optimized bandwidth utilization and cost efficiency. 7. Reporting & Network Visibility Develop and maintain centralized dashboards and reports providing insights into network health, performance, utilization, and security threats. 8. Physical Layer Integrity Perform structured cabling inspections and cable testing to identify and resolve physical layer connectivity issues. 9. Benchmarking & Standardization Evaluate existing network features and configurations against industry best practices and standards to drive continuous improvement and standardization. 10. Cross-Team Collaboration Coordinate with internal backend teams and external partners to provide escalated support for BAU operations and project-based initiatives. Preferred candidate profile 35 years in network administration. Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewall , SD-WAN , VLAN, and VPN setups. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN , routing, switching, and wireless technologies. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and alert systems. Ability to implement industry-standard configurations and security best practices.
