Role & responsibilities Developing and Implementing Quality Control: Establishing and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and specifications for all stages of the spinning process (e.g., blow room, carding, drawing, winding). Inspection and Testing: Conducting regular inspections and testing of fiber, sliver, roving, and yarn at various production stages to ensure they meet quality parameters. Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Defect Analysis and Resolution: Investigating the root causes of quality defects, recommending corrective actions, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence. Team Leadership and Training: Supervising and training quality control personnel, ensuring they understand quality standards and procedures. Liaison and Communication: Collaborating with other departments (e.g., production, maintenance, R&D) to address quality issues and implement improvements. Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies, and maintaining accurate records. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement throughout the spinning process. Preferred candidate profile Experience in Textile Manufacturing: Strong understanding of spinning processes, including blow room, carding, drawing, winding, and yarn testing. Knowledge of Quality Standards: Familiarity with Uster standards, ISO standards, and other relevant quality parameters. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of quality issues, and develop effective solutions. Communication and Leadership Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, lead and motivate a team, and provide training. Process Management and Optimization: Understanding of process optimization techniques and ability to identify areas for improvement. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all quality control activities. Specific Examples: Monitoring CSP (Count Strength Product), TPI (Twists Per Inch), and CV% (Coefficient of Variation): Ensuring these parameters meet the required specifications for different yarn types. Analyzing yarn imperfections and hairiness: Identifying and addressing issues that affect yarn evenness and appearance. Using Uster evenness testers and tensile testers: Employing these instruments to assess yarn quality and identify potential problems. Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA): Addressing quality issues and preventing their recurrence.
