In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, product development, sampling, and production teams to ensure that design aesthetics, fit, and construction are optimized for knit fabrics and manufacturing efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include translating design sketches and tech packs into accurate patterns for a variety of knitted garments such as t-shirts, polo shirts, dresses, and activewear. You will develop initial patterns and adapt them to different styles, sizes, and design requirements while considering knit structures like single jersey, interlock, rib, fleece, and pique. Conducting fitting sessions, making precise pattern adjustments, and collaborating with sample makers to ensure accurate sample execution will be crucial aspects of your role.
