As our Legal Advisor , you’ll be the go-to expert for all legal and compliance matters. You’ll work closely with leadership, content, marketing, and HR teams to ensure the company’s activities are legally sound, risk-free, and aligned with our business goals. You’ll combine sharp legal acumen with a practical, business-minded approach — making complex legal topics simple and actionable for a fast-moving creative team. Key Responsibilities 1. Contracts & Commercial Agreements Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, talent contracts, NDAs, service contracts, and client MOUs. Ensure terms safeguard the company’s interests while maintaining creative flexibility. 2. Intellectual Property (IP) & Content Rights Advise on copyright, licensing, and intellectual property issues across digital, video, and brand content. Manage IP registrations and protect original creative assets. Handle take-down notices, infringement claims, and copyright disputes when needed. 3. Corporate & Regulatory Compliance Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, including labor laws, data protection, IT, and media regulations. Support HR and Finance with statutory compliance, contract labor, and company policies. 4. Risk Management Identify potential legal risks in business operations and recommend preventive strategies. Develop internal policies for data privacy, vendor management, and content usage. 5. Liaison & Advisory Coordinate with external counsels, government bodies, or legal firms as required. Provide proactive legal advice to leadership on strategic business decisions. What We’re Looking For 4–6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in media, entertainment, advertising, or tech startups . Strong understanding of IPR, contracts, and employment law . Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills. Ability to balance legal precision with business practicality.
