As a part of a global media company producing high-quality content for over 1 billion consumers across 32 territories, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include utilizing processes for test plan reviews, validating quality processes, and establishing product specifications and quality attributes. You will be expected to measure production, document evidence, and determine operational and performance qualifications, as well as write and update quality assurance procedures. Your hands-on experience in API automation testing using tools like POSTMAN and Rest Assured will be essential for this role. Additionally, proficiency in automation testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium for web-based applications, and Mobile Automation tools like Appium and XUITest will be required. You will be responsible for enhancing automation frameworks, designing test scripts using Cypress, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across different layers of the application including UI, API, and backend. A strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript will be beneficial for this position. Experience in integration with CI/CD, cross-browser testing, visual regression, and executing functional, smoke, integration, and regression testing will be valuable assets. You will also be expected to set up test activities for projects, write organized test plans and test strategies, and have expertise in defect tracking tools like JIRA. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and time management skills are highly desired.
