As a Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect at Baker Hughes, you will be a part of the Engineering Digital Technology Team, playing a crucial role in the digital transformation of the business. Your responsibilities will revolve around applications & technology for Engineering, Product Management & Manufacturing/Supply Chain functions globally. From shaping the digital engineering strategy to facilitating employee success, you will deliver top-notch products and services to our business partners. Your primary focus will be on transforming the Product Life Cycle Management processes and digital technologies within the IET business segment. This transformation aims to enhance productivity, standardize product offerings, reduce costs, lead times, and improve quality, market share, and margins. Collaborating with a PLM Enterprise Architect, you will lead the functional & technical design and configuration of Teamcenter applications. Your key responsibilities will include defining business processes, use cases, user stories, and system cases for PLM functions. You will leverage industry best practices and global process strategy to document new business processes, data models, and application configurations. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Engineering and possess a minimum of 7 years of design/architecture, development & deployment experience in enterprise-level Teamcenter production implementations. Proficiency in AWS, BMIDE, Java, VB, XML, Oracle, Unix/Linux, and other related technologies is essential. Experience in large end-to-end implementations of Teamcenter, CAD/ERP/MES/CRM integrations, and knowledge of Mendix applications will be advantageous. Your success in this role will be fueled by your ability to work collaboratively with onsite & offshore teams, driving project collaboration and concurrent global product development. Traveling globally may be required as part of your role.
