We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Executive - Electroplating to optimize our electroplating processes and ensure the highest standards of quality at Rapsri Engineering Products Co Pvt Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing electroplating bath chemistry, conducting chemical analysis, and troubleshooting process issues, with a strong focus on silver electroplating. You will play a crucial role in maintaining bath solutions, monitoring chemical consumption, and implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance electroplating productivity and minimize waste. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of electroplating processes, waste treatment, and chemical handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Your ability to independently manage production and quality during your shift, along with your expertise in XRF analysis and other chemical analysis techniques, will be essential in achieving production targets and maintaining our reputation for high-quality components supplied to global OEMs. Responsibilities: Electroplating Process Management Manage and maintain electroplating bath chemistry, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular chemical analysis using techniques such as XRF, pH measurement, turbidity measurement, wet analysis, and gravimetric analysis. Troubleshoot electroplating process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Optimize electroplating parameters to enhance productivity, reduce chemical consumption, and improve coating quality. Monitor and control the consumption of key chemicals, ensuring efficient usage and minimizing waste. Implement and maintain electroplating standards to ensure consistent product quality and compliance. Production Quality Control Independently handle production and quality control during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to production targets and quality standards. Perform inspections and testing of electroplated components, verifying coating thickness, adhesion, and other critical parameters. Implement and maintain production quality control systems to identify and prevent defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards for electroplating quality. Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control data, and process parameters. Waste Treatment and Environmental Compliance Manage waste treatment processes, including coagulation, precipitation, co-precipitation, and sedimentation, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Monitor and control the discharge of wastewater, ensuring that it meets regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain chemical handling procedures to minimize the risk of spills and environmental contamination. Ensure compliance with MSDS requirements for all chemicals used in the electroplating process. Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste generation and improve waste treatment efficiency. Maintain accurate records of waste generation, treatment, and disposal activities. Safety and Chemical Handling Ensure adherence to chemical handling procedures and safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and correct potential hazards. Provide training to electroplating personnel on chemical handling procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all chemicals are properly stored and labeled. Implement and maintain emergency response plans for chemical spills and other incidents. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the electroplating department. General Expectations and Past Experiences: Proven expertise in Silver Electroplating and Tin Electroplating processes with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Electroplating Bath Chemistry Management and Electroplating Process Optimization Strategies. Hands-on experience with XRF Analysis Proficiency and other Chemical Analysis Techniques Application. Strong knowledge of Waste Treatment Processes Implementation and Chemical Handling Procedures Adherence. Demonstrated ability to enhance Electroplating Productivity and optimize Anode Consumption. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Shift Management capabilities within a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of Production Quality Control Systems and Safety Protocol Adherence.

Customer Service and Communication: Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner. Answer customer questions about the valuation process and gold in general. Provide clear and concise explanations of the valuation. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with patience and professionalism. Build rapport with customers and maintain a positive relationship. Security and Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding gold valuation and handling. Follow security protocols to protect valuable items and prevent theft. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., anti-money laundering laws, depending on the industry). Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Market Awareness: Monitor gold market trends and factors that influence pricing. Understand the impact of economic and geopolitical events on gold prices. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience in gold valuation, jewelry appraisal, or a related field is often preferred. Experience working with precious metals is a strong asset. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of different gold karats and their properties. Understanding of various gold testing methods and their limitations. Familiarity with gold market dynamics and pricing. Basic understanding of jewelry and precious metals. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Strong mathematical skills for calculating valuations. Proficient in using gold testing equipment and scales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
