You are a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant who will be joining our growing dental team. As an ideal candidate, you are a team player who is passionate about patient care and oral health. Your main responsibilities will include assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. Your tasks will involve preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting dentists during various procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, taking and processing dental X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all patients. To qualify for this role, you must have a Dental Assistant certification as required by state law and X-ray certification where applicable. While previous experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and professional demeanor is also crucial for this position.
