Job Description: We are seeking an experienced XPP Template Developer with five or more years of experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for coding, layout design, creating templates, font installation, and addressing editorial corrections for content using the XPP (XML Professional Publisher) system. About The Role: As an XPP Template Developer, you will: Create templates, install fonts, design layouts, and generate print deliverables from XML or structured word- processing files, tagged graphics, and other regulated document types (such as SGML, XML, and HTML) using XPP (XML Professional Publisher) as the primary composition system. Monitor and manage workflows within the XPP (XML Professional Publisher) system. Test and document existing code within the XPP system based on defined requirements for various titles produced within the system. You Should Know: Knowledge of Template Development Understanding of Layout principles Familiarity with Transforming Tables Knowledge of Typesetting Proficient knowledge of CT, XML, HTML, CS Knowledge of PERL would be a plus Strong understanding of basic programming techniques and proficient analytical skills Ability to identify and resolve issues during testing Attention to detail and well-organized, managing assignments to timely completion Experience Required : 4 years of related experience in the mentioned domain and skills. Certifications / Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field is required. Professional Experience : Prior experience using the skillset mentioned under Technical/Professional Skills are highly desirable.
