Job Title: Digital Twin Engineer (5-6 Years’ Experience, XMPro or Similar) Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Digital Twin Engineer to design, develop, and implement digital twins for assets using XMPro or comparable platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage IoT Sensors, data integration, and simulation technologies to optimize asset performance, enable predictive maintenance, and drive process improvements within manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Digital Twin Development: Architect and implement digital twins for critical assets using XMPro or similar platforms. Create, calibrate, and maintain high-fidelity virtual models that mirror the structure, behavior, and performance of physical systems. Integrate real-time data from IoT sensors, controllers, and enterprise systems. Data Integration & Analysis: Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from operational technology (OT) systems into digital twin environments. Analyze digital twin data to extract actionable insights for asset optimization and process improvement. Simulation & Optimization: Use digital twins to simulate operational scenarios, predict failures, and recommend corrective actions. Balance trade-offs between model accuracy, execution speed, and computational efficiency. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, IT) to ensure alignment on digital twin objectives and integration strategies. Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital twin technology, IoT, and data analytics. Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and innovation within manufacturing operations. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5-6 years’ hands-on experience building and deploying digital twins for industrial assets, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing. Proficiency with XMPro or similar digital twin/IoT platforms. Strong knowledge of IoT, data integration, and real-time data processing. Experience with simulation software and/or modeling tools. Programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, Java) are a plus. Familiarity with cloud computing and hybrid IT environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to work in cross-functional, agile teams. Preferred: Experience with AI/ML for predictive analytics in manufacturing. Knowledge of OPC UA, SCADA, MES, or other industrial protocols. Experience in process optimization and asset management in FMCG.
