Role & responsibilities Customization & Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle EBS modules, including Financials, SCM, HRMS, and others as required. Work on Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), and XML Publisher. Lead the development of custom components like interfaces, extensions, reports, and forms using Oracle development tools. Integration: Design and implement integrations between Oracle applications and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and Oracle SOA Suite. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and ensure seamless data flow across systems. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and technical solution diagrams. Ensure adherence to quality standards and document version control. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide regular status updates and communicate risks or issues to the project management team. Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of Oracle EBS applications, custom code, and database performance. Resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions to production support and business-critical problems. Upgrades & Migrations: Lead Oracle EBS upgrades, patch applications, and data migrations. Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during upgrades and migrations. Team Management: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed. Preferred candidate profile Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HRMS). Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, OAF, XML Publisher, and UNIX scripting. Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, Web Services, and APIs for integrations. Development Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle Workflow, and BI Publisher. Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus. Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills in both Oracle EBS and Oracle databases. Database Management: Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL tuning, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
