You will be joining our team as a Technical Writer for a critical banking project that focuses on DITA. Your role will involve developing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for APIs, which includes user guides, integration manuals, and system documentation. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders will be crucial to your success in understanding and effectively communicating complex information in XML DITA format. Your responsibilities will also include creating user documentation, FAQs, and how-to guides for both technical and non-technical users, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all your work. Conducting interviews with subject matter experts to gather detailed information and managing documentation projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards will be key aspects of your job. Your ability to implement documentation best practices and work independently with a strong attention to detail will be essential. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience in API documentation, especially in a banking or financial services context. Proficiency in XML DITA and other documentation tools is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and present them in user-friendly documentation. Previous experience working in agile environments would be advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience, with a focus on API documentation, is preferred. A degree in Computer Science or a related field would also be a valuable qualification for this position.,
