As the Placement Manager, you will be responsible for student placements across all three XIME campuses: Bangalore, Kochi, and Chennai. Your pivotal role involves cultivating relationships with companies and ensuring successful student placements. Responsibilities 1. Employer Engagement : Cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of employers to understand their hiring needs and preferences. Actively seek out new partnership opportunities with companies, organizations, and industry stakeholders. 2. Networking and Outreach : Represent the institution at career fairs, industry events, and networking forums to promote placement opportunities and build partnerships. Collaborate with academic departments, alumni networks, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expand placement opportunities for students. 3. Student/Candidate Support : Providing guidance and support to students in resume writing, interview preparation and career planning. To understand students' expectation and share feedback from industry. Qualifications and Skills required Knowledge of market trends and industry requirements Excellent networking and relationship-building skills Strong understanding of education-to-employment transitions Excellent writing, speaking and persuasion skills. Solid experience with digital media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Ability to work effectively in a team and individually. XIME being a PG Institute, Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities Regional Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with companies across Kerala and other states to establish long-term relationships. Target Achievement: Execute strategies to achieve ambitious targets for student placements and internship opportunities. Revenue Generation: Drive the sales and implementation of our executive education and corporate training programs. Field Liaison: Act as the primary, hands-on representative of the institute during corporate visits and meetings. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5+ years of progressive, full-time experience in Corporate Relations, Business Development, Placement Coordination, or B2B sales (preferably in the education, training, or staffing sectors). A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory; a Master’s Degree (MBA) in Marketing, HR, or Management is highly preferred. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets related to client acquisition, B2B sales, or student placements. Prior experience successfully selling intangible services (like educational programs or consulting) to corporate HR/L&D departments is a significant asset. Candidate should be willing and able to undertake frequent, often independent, field travel (up to 50-70% time) within the mandated geography.
