As a Mobile App Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications before they are released to the public. You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and report issues, verify bug fixes, and help maintain a high standard of app performance and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and timelines. Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various mobile platforms (iOS, Android). Define test objectives and success criteria for each testing phase. Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks. Verify the functionality, UI/UX, and compatibility of apps on different devices and screen sizes. Execute regression testing to ensure that new updates do not introduce new issues. Document and prioritize defects, including detailed steps to reproduce issues. Collaborate with developers to provide clear and actionable bug reports. Verify and close resolved issues and retest them as needed. Set up and configure test devices, emulators, and simulators for testing. Ensure test environments are representative of the target user base. Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases and test results. Report on testing progress, test coverage, and defect statistics to stakeholders. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso).
