Primary Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership & Team Management Direct and manage a team of software engineers through the complete SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Provide mentorship, technical direction, and career development guidance to team members to foster growth and performance. Conduct code reviews, establish engineering KPIs, and enforce development standards. 2. Project Ownership & Engineering Oversight Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and delivery of high-impact software projects, ensuring adherence to scope, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and drive sprint planning. Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure software systems while establishing and enforcing development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. 3. Hands-On Software Development Contribute actively to the codebase, particularly focusing on architecturally significant components and complex features. Lead problem diagnosis efforts, resolve system-level technical issues, and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions . 4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Translate functional and business requirements into robust technical specifications and architectural blueprints. Communicate project updates, technical risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to internal leadership and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications: Minimum 7 + years of professional experience in software development, including 1-2 years in a technical leadership role . Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies including: .NET Core, .NET Framework C#, SQL, Entity Framework Xamarin , jQuery Proven experience in delivering scalable, production-grade software solutions. Excellent analytical, architectural design, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or a related technical discipline. Preferred Skills & Experience Familiarity with modern DevOps methodologies including CI/CD pipelines , infrastructure-as-code , and automated deployment strategies . Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure , AWS , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Exposure to microservices architecture , containerized deployments using Docker , and orchestration via Kubernetes . Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers, resolve team conflicts, and foster a high-performing engineering culture.
