Job Title: WTX Developer / ITX Engineer (Banking Domain) Experience: 2 to 7 Years Location: [Specify: Chennai - Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time Interview Level L1 Technical round - Virtual L2 Technical & Managerial - Face2Face (Must) Job Description: We are looking for a skilled WTX/ITX Developer with strong experience in Sybase, Unix/Linux, and Jasper , preferably within the banking or investment services domain . The role involves development, performance tuning, and configuration/release management while working in an Agile environment . Key Responsibilities: Build credibility and maintain clear communication with business and technical stakeholders. Perform business and technical analysis , create design documents, and evaluate functional/technical impacts. Develop and maintain integration flows using WTX/ITX 10.x . Work on PL/SQL, stored procedures (Sybase) , and shell scripts. Perform unit and integration testing , support UAT, and improve application performance. Contribute to configuration management, release management, and Agile practices . Create UML diagrams and maintain technical documentation. Train newcomers on functional and technical aspects of the application. Technical Skills: WTX/ITX 10.x (Type Tree, Integration Flow Designer, Resource Registry). Strong knowledge of Sybase, PL/SQL, stored procedures . Proficiency in Unix/Linux and shell scripting. Hands-on exposure to Jasper, OOPs, and RDBMS concepts . Familiarity with Agile methodologies . Bonus Skills: Angular, Spring Framework, Cloud & AI exposure, Funds Administration, Investment Services. Behavioral Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Developing complex mappings in WTX from the scratch. Create type-trees in WTX for different file formats from the scratch. Create systems using Integration Flow Designer Configure WTX launcher. Responsibility: Candidate must have at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Websphere Tansformation Extender (9.0/10.0) Candidate must have a basic knowledge in UNIX. The knowledge of any scripting language is a plus. Candidate must have worked on different file formats eg: EDI formats, XML, Fixed and Delimited file format. Candidate should have knowledge of atleast one tool used for continuous deployment pipelines. Must possess strong communication skills. Experience in the Agile method of working is a plus. Domain knowledge in any of these domain : Retail / Logistics / Healthcare / Banking is an add on. Skill Set: Developing complex mappings in WTX from the scratch.
