Experience : 3 - 5 Years Location : Chennai Shift :24*7 Mode : 6 months (extendable) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Systems Administrator with hands-on experience in applying software patches, firmware updates, and security fixes across enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our systems by ensuring timely deployment of updates and working closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to minimize vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities: Apply operating system and software patches across Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments. Schedule, test, and deploy security updates with minimal downtime. Maintain and manage patch management tools such as WSUS, SCCM, Ansible, or equivalent. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to monitor patch release cycles. Validate successful patch installation and system performance post-deployment. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patching schedules, policies, and system changes. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and remediate critical vulnerabilities. Participate in audits and provide evidence of compliance with patching policies and security standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, CIS). Monitor threat advisories and CVE databases to stay current on security risks. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience accepted. 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT operations with a focus on patch management. Proficiency with patching tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, BigFix, ManageEngine, Ansible). Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation. Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux distributions, and networking basics. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management processes. Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications good to have (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCSA). Experience in a regulated industry with audit and compliance requirements. Exposure to ITIL processes and change management practices. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

IIS Server changes, NLB Configuration, SSL Configuration and Management, Providing access to the sites, IIS Troubleshooting 3.Triage: Generally the L3 is the final level of escalation for all WintelandVMWare related issues. However in the event of an un-resolved incident which is taking longer than expected, the L3 eningeer is required to co-ordinate with the Data Center TDU COE team to get expert help and work towards the resolution of incidents. They will also engage and work with the respective TAC teams to resolve any product related issues or software bugs 4. Process Compliance: Prepare RFCs and represent RFC in the change advisory board for approval of changes. Assign approved changes to L2 group to implement them Conduct repeat incident analysis to identify proactive problem tickets and work on the premanent fix for the issues Gather information from vendor, customer, analysis from the troubleshooting or investigation, resolution steps implemented and update the tickets regularly, as per the defined process Prepare a detailed report on the plan of action for the existing tickets for the next shift engineer Followthrough and execute the various Escalation Matrix (Vendor , Internal and Customer defined) Ensure tickets are closed post user or customer communication, Constantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate on deviations as defined in the process
