As a Network Engineer at our organization, you will be an integral part of the IT Infrastructure team, utilizing your expertise to design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade networks and associated systems. Your responsibilities will include deploying scalable and secure LAN/WAN networks, administering Windows Server and Desktop environments, managing firewalls, routers, and network switches, as well as troubleshooting virtual environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and security of our network infrastructure by configuring access control policies, VPN technologies, and maintaining services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS, and Group Policy Objects (GPO). Additionally, you will support internal applications and systems by managing SQL Server instances and deploying site-to-site and client VPN connections. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will address IT support tickets, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations. Your proactive approach will be essential in monitoring infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving system efficiency. Furthermore, you will document network topologies, configuration changes, and operational procedures to maintain a comprehensive record of our network environment. To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical skills in Windows Server and Desktop OS troubleshooting, firewall configuration and management, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V environments, Linux systems, AWS Cloud fundamentals, IIS, DNS, DHCP, VPN, WSUS, WDS, SQL Server administration, and various networking protocols and diagnostic tools. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, relevant certifications, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
