Role & responsibilities : Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for IT products and solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets. Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales quotas. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new technologies. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth on-boarding and implementation. Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports (DSR, WSR, Sales Funnel, etc) for higher management. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the companys offerings. Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns tailored for target audiences. Preferred candidate profile : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (MBA in Sales preferred). Candidates worked in IT firms managing banking vertical will be preferred. Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and solutions (e.g., software, hardware, cloud services, cyber security). Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to understand technical concepts and convey value propositions effectively. Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics.
