The Content team atMakeMyTrip shapes how our brand is experienced across customertouchpointscrafting compelling narratives, simplifying travel offerings, anddriving consistent, high-impact communication. From microcopy and campaignlines to SEO content, the team works closely with cross-functional partners toensure everything aligns with our brand voice and business goals. Within this function sits the Social Media team , which plays a pivotal role inbuilding brand buzz, recall, and awareness. The team is responsible formanaging the presence of all MakeMyTrip Group brandsincluding MakeMyTripIndia, Goibibo, Homestays, and MakeMyTrip GCC. It also drivesinfluencer and brand collaborations, handles crisis communication, and leadsinitiatives to amplify brand visibility across all social media platforms inline with organizational policies. About the Role As a Copywriter , you will play a pivotal role incrafting engaging and innovative content that resonates with our targetaudience across various social media platforms. Your expertise in writing willbe key to bringing fresh ideas to life while staying on top of daily trends. What will you be doing Generating concept and copy for social creatives aimed atincreasing engagement and growing followers. A strong understanding ofInstagram and YouTube algorithms is essential to craft data-informed contentstrategies. You must be able to independently ideate and drive campaigns fromconcept to execution, with support from design and video production teams. Creating daily social media calendars aligned with businessobjectives and moment marketingleveraging both fixed and fluid opportunitiesto maintain strong brand buzz and recall. Ensuring 100% consistency in content (style, format, font) andimages. Mapping customer insights into relevant, high-impact campaignideas that drive social conversations and brand affinity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product,Supply, Category, and Engineering to understand project requirements and ensuresmooth execution. Coordinating with external stakeholders and agencies to deliverhigh-quality content in a defined and structured manner. Qualification & Experience: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, or a related field, with strong written and communication skills. 10+ years of experience working with a reputed advertising agency, preferably managing young, digital-first brands, along with 23 years of experience handling the social media presence, content calendars, and agendas for a digital brand. Key Success Factors for the Role: Demonstrate strong creative and copywriting skills that align with the brands voice and tone Possess excellent command over both written and spoken English Be a versatile writer, equally adept at crafting impactful short-form and long-form content
