Role & responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of field collection executives across assigned locations. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets for the area. Monitor bucket-wise delinquency (DPD - Days Past Due) and drive recovery strategies accordingly. Implement and optimize collection strategies to reduce NPAs and improve cash flow. Ensure effective follow-up with defaulting customers through field visits, calls, and legal action if necessary. Liaise with legal teams for handling recovery through legal channels (e.g., arbitration, SARFAESI, etc. where applicable). Conduct regular reviews and performance assessments of the collection team. Maintain MIS and reporting of collection performance to senior management. Ensure all collections and customer interactions adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Credit, Sales, and Operations for smooth recovery processes. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of collections and recovery processes Leadership and team management abilities Analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Sound knowledge of legal aspects related to collections (especially for secured/unsecured loans) Proficiency in MS Excel and collection tracking systems

Summary The position is open for Cluster Manager for Gujrat- Ahmedabad. Tele Recovery & Field Recovery, the candidate must have min 5-10 years of collection/ recovery experience of banking , fintech or NBFC. The person would be responsible for end-to-end collection of the assigned portfolio of cash loan and consumer durable products, managed portfolio (one or multiple dues stages) performance through a team of team leaders and vendors.
