Job Description

As a Wound Care Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive care for patients with wounds, including cleaning and dressing wounds, applying bandages, and managing minor injuries. You will also be tasked with maintaining a sterile environment through proper infection control measures, sterilizing instruments, and adhering to infection control protocols to prevent complications. Patient education is a key aspect of this role, as you will be required to educate patients and their families on wound care, hygiene practices, and prevention strategies to promote optimal healing. Additionally, you will be expected to assist doctors and nurses with procedures such as the removal of sutures or staples under supervision.
