About this role : We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Workplace Planning manager to join our growing Workplace Design team in India. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our office environments across the APAC region, delivering smart, inclusive, and experience-driven workplace solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in space planning, workplace strategy, and occupancy analytics, with the ability to work cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable design recommendations. In this role, you will Oversee development of test fits, adjacency planning, and space utilization studies in alignment with our Global Design Standards based on headcount forecasts and programming functional requirements translated into efficient, flexible layout strategies Partner with key stakeholders in Design, Project Delivery, Real Estate Strategy, and Lines of Business to align workplace strategy with business goals Support implementation of design standards and act as a regional liaison between global guidelines and local execution. Ability to interpret and apply corporate design standards in a dynamic environment Collaborate with architects and consultants to develop planning options and evaluate design efficiencies. Support space planning activities across projects at various stagesfrom feasibility to post-occupancy Maintain and analyze space metrics and workplace data to inform space planning decisions and optimize portfolio performance Contribute to the development and documentation of planning tools, standards, and processes for regional consistency Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired qualification Candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to a location listed in the posting. Excellent communication skills. Job Expectations Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Planning, or related field 8+ years of relevant experience in workplace planning, corporate real estate, or design strategy. Relevant experience on the financial services client side. Experience working in global or matrixed organizations preferred Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills. Tableau experience advantageous Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Ability to manage vendor partners and provide clear direction based on competing priorities Solid negotiation skills and the ability to facilitate agreements across a project team Possesses executive presence, ability to manage complexity and a broad scope of daily work activities and stakeholders. Ability to create a strong collaborative work environment to successfully develop partnerships
