Job Title: Factory Helper / General Laborer / Production Helper / Industrial Worker Department: Production / Operations / Manufacturing / Warehouse Reports To: Production Supervisor / Shop Floor Manager / Team Leader Location: Nashik, Maharashtra, India (This is a hands-on role performed within a factory or manufacturing plant). Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent, hardworking, and reliable Factory Helper to assist with various tasks in our manufacturing unit in Nashik. The ideal candidate will support production processes, maintain cleanliness and organization on the shop floor, assist in material handling, and ensure a safe working environment. This role is fundamental to the smooth and efficient operation of our factory. Key Responsibilities: Production Support: Assist skilled workers, machine operators, and technicians in various stages of the production process. Load and unload materials, components, and finished products from production lines, machines, or storage areas. Feed raw materials into machines or assembly lines as per instructions. Assist in packaging, labeling, and stacking finished goods. Perform basic assembly tasks or manual operations as required. Material Handling: Move materials and products within the factory using trolleys, hand trucks, or by hand, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist in receiving and dispatching goods, checking quantities, and reporting discrepancies. Organize and store materials in designated areas. Housekeeping & Maintenance Support: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the factory floor, workstations, and common areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris. Clear production waste, scrap materials, and dispose of them in designated bins or areas. Clean and maintain basic tools and equipment after use. Assist in general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning machinery, painting, or minor repairs under supervision. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all factory safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, helmets, gloves, and ear protection as required. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately. Follow instructions regarding the safe operation of equipment and handling of materials. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other factory staff, production workers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets. Be willing to take on various tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support overall factory operations.
