You will be joining Worley, a global professional services company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, as an Advance Works Packaging (AWP) Manager/Engineer. In this role, you will work in the UNCE region under the Construction Team, reporting to the AWP Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the development, implementation, and tracking of AWP for projects, ensuring alignment between Project Controls, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Construction teams. As the AWP Manager/Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Project Management Team, responsible for staffing the Workface Planning Lead with support from Construction Managers. You will be based at site offices and attend face-to-face meetings as necessary depending on the location of EPC/EPCM scopes. Your key responsibilities will include understanding and implementing corporate AWP procedures, developing and implementing AWP project plans, managing Work Packaging data efficiently, participating in schedule development sessions, and facilitating the development of Construction Work Areas, Path of Construction, and Construction Work Packages, among other tasks. You will also be involved in ensuring proper implementation of the Virtual Construction Model (VCM) and fostering alignment between various project teams. To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with at least 15 years of project experience that includes full implementation of AWP in at least one project. You should have a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes, as well as proven leadership and communication skills. Experience in roles such as lead workface planner, lead field engineer, and lead project engineer will be beneficial.
