As a candidate for this role, you should have at least 8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to developing integrations using Workday Technology. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations using tools such as Custom Report, EIB, Core Connector, PICOF, PECI, and Workday Studio. You must have prior experience working on an End-to-End Workday Implementation project and be adept at gathering and analyzing requirements. Providing technical advice, best practices, and developing solutions for integration development will be crucial aspects of your role. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing integrations, monitoring integration runs, ensuring the smooth operation of the Workday System Architecture, tracking issues and risks, and staying updated on emerging trends in Workday products. Collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and functional teams will be essential in defining requirements and developing robust integration solutions. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. You must also be certified in at least one Workday integration technology track and have experience working in overlapping hours between the US and India. Strong analytical and designing skills, effective communication, and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team are key attributes required for this role. Being a self-starter with a passion for continuous learning will be an added advantage.
