As the Lead, Global People Services at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for responding to customer requests and inquiries related to HR services. Your role will involve receiving requests from customers through inquiry tools or other communication methods and entering them into tracking programs as appropriate. You will utilize the knowledge base to provide answers and clarifications to improve first call resolution, and refer or escalate to the appropriate resource when necessary. In this position, you will also manage and maintain personnel and organizational records. This includes receiving notifications, referring to standard operating procedures and policies, escalating issues to service managers or other appropriate parties, updating relevant HR systems with applicable information, validating data changes, and notifying applicable parties of data changes as needed. Additionally, you will implement, review, and monitor services by receiving training on new or changed services, monitoring process effectiveness, ensuring Service Level Agreements criteria are met, providing input to service managers for improvements, maintaining standard operating procedures and knowledge base, managing user acceptance testing of HR systems, and leading/supporting HR projects to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Your role will also involve supporting HR system transactions and programs across the employee lifecycle, administering changes to worker data, facilitating position management and new-hire processing, hiring and maintaining non-employee workers, and coordinating work across HR functions. Furthermore, you will maintain company and worker data processes by administering organization and position management, facilitating hiring actions, supporting and processing personnel changes, administering billing for benefits/insurance, updating and maintaining personnel and organizational records, coordinating interfaces to vendors, and carrying out other assigned tasks according to business needs. The requirements for this role include a minimum of 3-5 years of Workday knowledge and 1-2 years of ServiceNow experience. The qualification needed is a degree holder. As a Workday Data Migration Analyst, you will be an essential part of our global Workday deployment, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient migration of employee data from various source systems to our new Workday platform. You will collaborate closely with the Global People Analytics team, the global HR transformation team, the global HR data and reporting team, and local HR teams worldwide to facilitate a seamless transition to Workday and our System Implementation partner. Your typical day will involve working closely with local HR teams and data stewards to map data to a global data model in data gathering workbooks (DGW). You will review Workday validation reports, assist local stakeholders in issue resolution, enhance data quality, expedite data migration processes, report progress, and plan future activities. Additionally, you will create and maintain data quality trackers, FAQs, data definition repositories, and act as the central point of contact for data migration queries and facilitate local and global data UAT activities in Workday. Your responsibilities will include: Data Extraction and Analysis: - Collaborating with local HR teams in different countries to comprehend their existing HR data structures and systems. - Extracting data from various global source systems using appropriate tools and techniques. - Analyzing and profiling the extracted data to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps. Data Transformation and Mapping: - Mapping local source data elements to the target Workday data model. - Developing and executing data transformation rules to cleanse, standardize, and transform data for Workday. - Utilizing data migration tools and templates effectively. Data Validation and Reconciliation: - Validating the migrated data in Workday to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Reconciling migrated data with source systems to identify and resolve discrepancies. - Developing and executing data quality checks throughout the migration process. Collaboration and Communication: - Working closely with Global HR, IT, and local HR teams to coordinate data migration activities. - Providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders on data migration progress, issues, and risks. - Developing and maintaining comprehensive data migration documentation. Troubleshooting and Support: - Troubleshooting data migration issues and providing support to local HR teams. - Escalating complex technical issues as needed. Skills and Knowledge: - Workday Knowledge: Experience working with Workday, including foundation data structures and EIB. Workday certifications are a plus. - Data Migration Experience: Proven experience in data migration projects involving HR data and Workday. - Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis skills, including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data migration processes. - Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a global mindset. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
