Job Title: CAM Programmer CNC Milling (Power MILL / Delcam ) Location: Tirupati Experience Required: 5 to 6 Years No. of Positions: 1 Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Industry: Precision Manufacturing / Tool Room / Engineering / Automotive Job Summary: We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented CAM Programmer CNC Milling with expertise in or Work NC . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D programming for Mold core & cavity machining in a tool room environment . This role involves developing CNC programs, proving them out on the shop floor, and optimizing machining strategies for better efficiency and precision. Key Responsibilities: Develop and generate CNC milling programs using PowerMILL / WorkNC / Delcam CAM software . Strong expertise in 3D surface programming , particularly for mold cores and cavities . Determine the appropriate cutting tools , speeds , feeds , and machining strategies . Collaborate with CNC machine operators to prove out new programs and ensure correct setups. Optimize existing programs to improve cycle times , tool life , and part quality . Troubleshoot issues related to machining, tooling , or program inconsistencies . Maintain and manage program documentation , including tool lists and setup sheets. Ensure compliance with safety protocols , quality control , and industry standards . Candidate Requirements: Diploma or B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical / Tool Engineering or related field. 5 to 6 years of proven experience in CNC CAM programming in a tool room or Mold manufacturing setup. Hands-on experience with Delcam Power MILL , WorkNC , or equivalent CAM tools. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like calipers , micrometers , etc. Strong analytical , problem-solving , and attention-to-detail skills. Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc or Mitsubishi . Basic understanding of CNC milling machine setup and operation.
