WordPress Internship

About the Role
We’re looking for a WordPress Intern who’s passionate about web development and eager to gain real-world experience. If you’re a fast learner with a foundation in PHP, HTML, CSS, and WordPress, and are excited to grow your skills in a collaborative environment—this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Note: This is a 7-month internship with the potential for a full-time role based on performance.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in building and maintaining websites using WordPress
• Help in customizing and extending themes and plugins
• Work across both frontend and backend tasks
• Troubleshoot, test, and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement responsive, high-performance solutions
• Contribute to documentation and follow development best practices
• Learn and grow through mentorship and hands-on project involvement

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Basic understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins
• Familiarity with MySQL and database interactions
• Exposure to jQuery and AJAX is a plus
• Passion for learning and improving your development skills
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• (Bonus) A portfolio, GitHub profile, or sample projects

Nice to Have

• Interest in building eCommerce sites with WordPress
• Awareness of SEO and performance optimization practices
• Familiarity with Git or any version control system
