WordPress Developer

We re looking for new teammates that are positive, love supporting their colleagues, and want to have the opportunity to spread their wings when the opportunity presents itself.We are seeking a WordPress/Shopify Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating Shopify website, WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Skills And Qualifications:-

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience working within the WordPress platform, PHP, the WordPress API, or WP GraphQL is a plus.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience working within the Shopify Plus platform, and Liquid templating language.
• 3+ years working with modern technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX as necessary.
• Experience working with CSS pre-processors like Sass or Less.
• Experience working with frameworks such as Vue, React, Nuxt, or Next.js.
• Experience working with front-end animation libraries like GSAP, Tween, or animejs.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or similar field.
• Superb troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Always wanting to push the boundaries of what is possible to create impactful web experiences.

Roles and responsibilities:-

• Joining our resident Shopify Plus and WordPress expert team
• Working with UI/UX engineers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences
• Develop custom Shopify or WordPress themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project
• Working with Project Management to scope new functionality requests and supporting Sales to scope new projects
• Intense passion and strong desire to be successful in the field of web development or programming
• Ability to move between customer projects, understand business needs that drive features, and be consultative throughout
