Description
We are seeking a talented WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of our clients' WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, with a focus on building custom themes, plugins, and integrations. As a WordPress/WooCommerce Developer, you will collaborate closely with our design and project management teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business requirements and exceed their expectations. Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores for our clients, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs and project requirements. Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch using best practices and coding standards in WordPress development. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress/WooCommerce websites as needed for additional functionality or data exchange. Optimize website performance, including page load times, server response times, and overall site speed, using techniques such as caching, asset optimization, and code minification. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality, reliability, and compatibility of developed solutions across different browsers and devices. Implement and maintain web security best practices to protect WordPress/WooCommerce websites from vulnerabilities and security threats. Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams on WordPress/WooCommerce-related issues, troubleshooting problems and offering solutions. Stay updated on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce releases, features, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our development process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope. Skills and Experience Proven experience developing WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in PHP programming language and MySQL database management. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. Experience with WordPress theme development, including custom theme creation and modification. Familiarity with WooCommerce plugin development, including customizing product pages, checkout process, and payment gateways. Knowledge of WordPress coding standards, best practices, and security principles. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
