Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites using

custom themes

and

plugins

.
Work across the

full stack

from front-end (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Vue) to back-end (PHP, MySQL).
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
Optimize sites for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to bring concepts to life.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
Maintain version control (Git) and follow development workflows.
Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in

PHP

,

MySQL

,

JavaScript

, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Deep knowledge of

WordPress core

,

custom theme/plugin development

, and WooCommerce.
Experience with

REST API

integrations.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like

React

or

Vue.js

is a plus.
Understanding of

WP-CLI

, Composer, and build tools like Webpack or Gulp.
Solid grasp of

Git

workflows.
Knowledge of web security best practices.
Good understanding of SEO fundamentals and Core Web Vitals.

Nice to Have

Experience with

Headless WordPress

Familiarity with cloud hosting and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
