Wordpress Developer - Backend

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the WordPress plugin at WP Event Manager. Your role will involve customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins, integrating third-party APIs and services, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, optimizing performance, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with designers, developers, and tech lead to meet project requirements. Additionally, you will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain the WordPress plugin. - Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins. - Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress. - Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance. - Collaborate with designers, developers, and tech lead to meet project requirements. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS, and MySQL. - Hands-on experience with custom WordPress development and plugin customization. - Experience with OOPs Concepts, WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API. - Familiarity with WP Event Manager or similar event management plugins is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail. - Experience with Git and version control systems. - Experience with any developer platform like Github. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.,
