As a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer, your role will involve designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing WordPress websites, optimizing them for performance, speed, and SEO best practices. Collaboration with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions is key. Additionally, troubleshooting website issues and bugs, integrating third-party APIs and services, and staying updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices are essential responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements - Maintain and update existing WordPress websites - Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices - Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs - Integrate third-party APIs and services - Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development - Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL - Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg - Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility - Familiarity with version control systems like Git - Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices - Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals In addition to the required skills and qualifications, it would be beneficial if you have experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based eCommerce platforms, familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX, understanding of web hosting, cPanel, and DNS configuration, experience with website migration and backups, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.,
