Implement caching, security, and performance enhancements via plugins like Wordfence, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, AutoOptimize, Breeze, etc. Customize child themes, build custom plugins, and develop advanced functionality using custom code snippets, functions.php, and plugin-based logic. Integrate third-party APIs and external services seamlessly with WordPress setups. Manage hosting configurations, backups, migrations, SSL setups, and ongoing site maintenance on cPanel, Cloudways, or VPS environments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (non-client-facing) and maintain basic documentation and testing for handovers. Stay updated with WordPress best practices, builder ecosystems, and plugin innovations. Requirements Minimum 3 years of proven WordPress development experience. Solid understanding of WordPress core architecture, theme frameworks, and plugin systems. Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
