WordPress - Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to join our team and create visually appealing and fully functional websites for our clients. As a WordPress developer, you will play a crucial role in both back-end and front-end development, which includes implementing WordPress themes and plugins, integrating sites, and ensuring security updates are up-to-date. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of front-end programming languages, a keen eye for design aesthetics, and strong content management abilities. Ultimately, a successful WordPress developer will deliver websites that not only meet but exceed our clients" design and functionality requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop robust and secure applications and websites using WordPress APIs. - Design and construct the front-end of websites. - Create the website's architecture and manage the back-end, including database and server integration. - Generate custom WordPress themes and plugins. - Perform website performance tests and address any issues. - Provide WordPress training to clients. - Monitor the performance of live websites and make necessary enhancements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - Proven work experience as a WordPress developer. - Proficiency in front-end technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery. - Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, and SVN. - Experience using debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug. - Strong understanding of website architecture and design principles. - Ability to manage multiple projects within specified timelines. - Excellent communication skills.
