Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and/or young, enthusiastic Procurement Executive specializing in Fittings & Valves for the Oil & Gas sector. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining robust supply chains to support our advanced engineering projects globally. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality components, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery for complex international projects. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers globally for fittings and valves specific to oil & gas applications. Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from requisition to purchase order, delivery, and invoice processing. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new technologies in oil & gas fittings & valves. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and quality teams to understand technical specifications and ensure compliance. Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant international regulations (e.g., API, ASTM, ASME). Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports on supplier performance, cost savings, and market insights. Mentor and guide junior procurement professionals Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial preferred), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Experienced Profile: 3-7 years of direct experience in procurement, with a significant focus on fittings and valves for the Oil & Gas industry. Skills: In-depth knowledge of fittings and valves used in oil & gas (e.g., ball valves, gate valves, check valves, flanges, pipes, etc.) and associated international standards. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. Certifications (Desired): CPSM, CIPS, or other relevant supply chain/procurement certifications are a plus.
