Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks/ERP, etc.). Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Handle accounts payable & receivable, invoicing, and vendor reconciliations. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations: GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and Income Tax. Assist in preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts. Support in monthly/quarterly/annual closing of accounts. Coordinate with internal/external auditors for statutory & tax audits. File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS returns, and other regulatory filings. Maintain asset registers, depreciation schedules, and stock records. Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management. Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
