Women's Health Physiotherapist

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist specialized in post-natal recovery to assess, plan, and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs for women after childbirth. The role focuses on restoring physical function, reducing pain, improving pelvic health, and supporting safe return to daily activities and fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive postnatal assessments, including:
• Pelvic floor function
• Core and abdominal integrity (e.g., diastasis recti)
• Postural changes
• Musculoskeletal pain (back, hip, pelvic, knee)
• Design and implement individualized postnatal rehabilitation programs
• Treat conditions such as:
• Pelvic floor weakness
• Urinary incontinence
• Diastasis recti
• Low back and pelvic girdle pain
• Post-C-section recovery issues
• Guide patients through safe exercise progressions
• Educate patients on:
• Correct posture and body mechanics
• Breathing techniques
• Lifestyle modifications
• Safe return to work, household activities, and exercise
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on recovery stages

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes
• Coordinate with
• Dietician
• Other physiotherapists
• Follow clinic protocols and ethical practice guidelines

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Specialized training or certification in:
• Women’s Health / Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation (preferred)
• Valid registration with relevant physiotherapy council/ association

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of postnatal biomechanics and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
• Empathy and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ethical and evidence-based practice approach

Experience

• 0–2 years experience in women’s health or postnatal care (preferred but not mandatory)
• Freshers with strong interest and training may be considered

Work Setting

• In-clinic consultations
• Home care (if assigned)
• Online/tele-rehabilitation (if applicable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
