Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu The Senior Logistics Manager ensures an efficient internal logistics chain in Siegwerk’s Centres of Excellence; manages logistics personnel and systems and directs daily operations. Your Tasks- What You can expect as Sr. Manager Logistics/ Supply Chain? Implementation, controlling and realization of defined business plan, KPI´s and targets in consideration of overall SCM (Colour Matching/Blending Center, Warehouse & Distribution strategy as well as execution of corrective actions in case of deviations. Continuous improvement of the Colour Matching Centre & Warehouse & Distribution performance and processes as well as the achievement of any down tasks to improve the site efficiency & profitability. Efficient planning and management of resources and capacities in line with overall business plan to achieve defined production targets and KPI´s – DIO & SLOB IFOT / Service Level & Cost Compliance of defined EHS rules as well as logistics & quality capability is at all times geared to exceed customer expectations and supports the improvement. Close coordination with Regional Sales for daily customer orders target fulfilling & First Fill Ratio 100% and customer complaints management 100% compliance of Local regulations related to Safety/Waste management, Pollution, Weight & Measurement, Labor etc.. Management of Admin related activities applicable Development, motivation and training of the workforce as well as implementation of a continuous improvement culture and processes within the CMC & Warehouse Your Profile- What do You bring as Sr. Manager Logistics/ Supply Chain? Qualifications : Min Graduation preferable with MBA Conversant with SAP / WMS Minimum 14-15 yrs. Work experience in Logistics, Warehouse management, planning & production, Inward/ Outward ops, inventory accuracy, Automation – Barcode projects/ Warehouse management system MS Office knowledge, especially good Excel knowledge Exposure to Lean and Six sigma Experience in managing large team Worked in 3PL company or Manufacturer in the desired role Good communication skill and knowing Tamil/Telugu/Kannada language with good English Are you interested ?
