Job Description

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the following technologiesStandards and protocols, application software and embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks and enterprise networks; connected devices (IOT and device engineering), connected applications (5G/ edge, B2X apps); and Telco Cloud, Automation and Edge Compute platforms. This role also involves the integration of network systems and their operations, related to the above technologies.Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage WLAN testing projects ensuring performance, functionality, and security of wireless networks.

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for wireless network validation.

Automate test cases using Python to improve efficiency and coverage.

Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve WLAN performance issues.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements .

Stay updated on emerging wireless technologies including Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 , 5G , and IoT .

Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Required Skills :

Strong hands-on experience with WLAN testing tools like Wireshark , Ixia , Spirent , or similar.

Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

Deep understanding of wireless networking protocols: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax , 5G , LTE .

Experience in debugging and resolving wireless performance and security issues.

Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Telecommunications , or related field.

Certifications such as CWNA , CWNP , or CCNA (Wireless) are a plus.
