We are looking for a WLAN Testing Engineer to join our wireless testing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing wireless protocols, preferably 802.11 standards, and hands-on experience with test tools. Key Responsibilities: • Perform functional, regression, performance, and interoperability testing of WLAN features. • Validate 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) for different wireless devices (routers, APs, IoT). • Test Wi-Fi features like roaming, throughput, coexistence, MIMO, MU-MIMO, channel bonding, etc. • Write and execute test cases and document test results in detail. • Debug issues using tools like Wireshark, protocol analyzers, and logs. • Work closely with development and other QA teams to reproduce, analyze, and root-cause issues. • Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages. Required Skills: • Strong understanding of WLAN/802.11 protocols. • Experience in wireless device testing (Access Points, Clients, Routers). • Hands-on experience with test tools like IxChariot, Wireshark, OmniPeek, iPerf. • Familiarity with RF concepts, signal strength, channel interference, etc. • Experience with Linux environment is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
