WLAN Host - Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for an experienced WLAN/Linux Driver Development Engineer to join the Engineering Group. As a qualified candidate, you should have a minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on technical experience in WLAN/Linux driver development, along with a proven track record of both managerial and individual technical accomplishments. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Demonstrating strong programming skills in C - Working directly with the Linux kernel and Linux kernel device drivers - Handling networking components within the Linux Kernel - Developing Networking drivers, with a preference for experience in Ethernet and Wireless LAN driver development - Troubleshooting complex system issues and showcasing excellent problem-solving skills - Thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment - Collaborating effectively with team members and cross-functional teams across different geographical locations to clearly define requirements and plan within resource constraints Additionally, WLAN driver experience is considered an advantage, and willingness to travel abroad is required. Strong communication skills are essential for this role to ensure effective collaboration and understanding among team members. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 4 years of Software Engineering experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of Software Engineering experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. If you have a disability and require accommodations during the application/hiring process, Qualcomm is committed to providing accessible support.
