The Digital Platform team in Bangalore is primarily responsible for developing KDIs digital platform Kognifai It is an open and collaborative digital ecosystem that improves integration between the world of information technology and operational technology to accelerate business transformation in established industries. The team is responsible for innovation and development of components for the IIoT platform (Kognifai) like data visualization framework, Identity management and data security, development of Data storage component and relevant analysis framework, edge computing and device management. As a Software Support Analyst, you will: Install, configure, and implement real-time systems and applications in the Oil and Gas Industry. Responsible for handling, troubleshooting and resolving technical support issues on installed systems in a timely manner. Troubleshooting complex technical issues, identifying and fixing the reported issues, delivering support for all customers. Ensuring that all customers are very satisfied with the effectiveness and efficiency of the support they receive. Utilizing knowledge of the customer environment, delivering timely and high quality incident resolution focusing on root cause analysis, prevention, and knowledge transfer. Train Users on Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies real-time visualization tools used in remote command centers. Work with clients to custom design real-time solutions using WITSML (XML for drilling environments). Perform demos of real-time data management and collaboration systems. Open to work in rotating shifts India Day and Night shifts. Travel locations may include client offices. To excel in this position, you must have: 1-6 years in Application/Technical/Product Support and troubleshooting supporting internal/external clients/customers over email/phone Deploying/Configuring/Supporting .net application/software on staging/production server Knowledge of the well construction process in Oil & Gas industry Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Petroleum engineer or Software Development Proven Windows Server 2008, 2010 system administration experience and knowledge of network communication solutions. Domain knowledge of the work processes related to drilling and well construction will be an advantage Familiar with WITSML or WITS will be beneficial. Knowledge/experience with Hardware and Software is a must Experience with software testing, support or troubleshooting Applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes Installation of new hardware and software Performance Tuning Network troubleshooting Providing service & solutions for problems and questions A firm commitment to proactive customer-friendly service and on-time delivery Desire to travel and work with people in different cultures Able to work in a team and independently Excellent written and verbal English Additionally, some good to have skills are: Experience of working on drilling rig will be an advantage but not must Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Security administration LDAP, Active Directory Oracle or SQL Database experience. Job Title: Business Analyst (7+ Years of Experience) Location: Noida, Agra Experience: 7+ Years Shift Timings: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM Work Mode: Work from Office (5 Days Working) Industry: Oil & Gas, SaaS Employment Type: Full- time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, specifically Frac operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and chart/graph plotting relevant to hydraulic fracturing. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and optimized product functionality. Key Responsibilities: Industry & Domain Expertise: o Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oil & Gas, with a focus on Frac operations, drilling, and production analytics. o Translate business needs into functional requirements/user stories for SaaS applications used by the Oil & Gas industry. Charting & Visualization: o Define and validate data-driven visualizations, including time-series graphs, pressure vs. depth charts, and fracture propagation models. o Work with development teams to implement accurate and user-friendly charting components. Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: o Engage with product, engineering and operations teams to gather precise business and technical requirements. o Convert domain-specific knowledge into clear documentation for the development team. Process Optimization & Workflow Enhancement: o Identify gaps in existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency. o Ensure seamless integration of analytical models with platform functionalities. Required Qualifications & Skills: Industry Knowledge: o Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within Oil & Gas software solutions. o Strong understanding of Frac operations, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineering principles. Software & Tools: o Experience working with SaaS-based Oil & Gas platforms. o Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Soft Skills: o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. o Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. o Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with Oil & Gas SaaS providers. Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics in Oil & Gas is a plus. Understanding of industry standards such as WITSML, PPDM, and RESQML is advantageous.
