We are dedicated to streamlining the billing process for providers and maximizing revenue collection while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (A/R) Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and following up on outstanding insurance and patient balances, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely collections. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and follow up on unpaid insurance and patient claims. Work aging reports and take action to reduce outstanding A/R. Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately. Contact insurance companies for claim status and resolve denials or underpayments. Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding claim issues and updates. Maintain detailed and accurate notes in billing software. Assist in preparing reports on collection efforts and account status. Stay updated on payer guidelines and insurance policies. Support the billing team with other revenue cycle tasks as needed. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable, preferably in a multi-specialty environment. Familiarity with major insurance carriers, denial codes, and appeal processes. Experience with medical billing software (e.g., InSync, AdvancedMD, Kareo, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy.
