A Solar ITI Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with solar systems, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance Install solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and resolve issues in solar PV systems, including wiring, connections, and equipment. Replace faulty components and ensure all systems comply with safety and performance standards. Testing and Monitoring Perform electrical testing of solar installations using specialized tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power analysers. Monitor system performance and report on efficiency metrics. Compliance and Documentation Ensure installations meet all safety standards, codes, and regulations. Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs. Customer Support Provide guidance to customers on system operations and maintenance. Address customer inquiries and resolve any technical issues promptly. Additional Requirements: Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
