Job Title : Network Engineer Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Networking/Mathematics /Computer Science Experience : 2-4 Years Must Have Skills : Knowledge of TCP/IP in internet working communication Previous NOC experience Cisco/Juniper network certification Experience troubleshooting wireless connections > Have great judgment and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup Environment > Have a knack for analytical thinking and with experience using data and to spot trends and make decisions producing actionable results > Have an extraordinary ability to multitask > Possess a high level of conscientiousness and demonstrate a hyper focused attention to detail > Extremely process oriented and love using your organizing skills to help teams run more efficiently Good to Have Skills : > Have excellent communication skills to work both with customers and coworkers Roles and Responsibilities : Monitoring 24/7 platform; network traffic and alerts Network outage alert response and initial troubleshooting Collaborating with internal and external cross-functiona l teams to resolve platform affecting issues Ensuring issues are clearly tracked, updated and documented Experience required: Experience working in a Linux environment Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking (routing/switching) Possess the analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to gather, synthesize and summarize data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be a team player!
